Casey and Carl's Trip to Cali - Day 3

It has been a great trip so far and today wouldn’t have been a better riding day. The sun was shining and the bikes were rolling. Since yesterday we rode Skate Park, today we really wanted to ride some dirt. We headed over to National City to ride a local spot. The jumps were really cool, but they were really complicated. They went like long gap to short gap to shorter gap and just messed you up. They were really tiring as well. I took a break for 5 minutes and then grabbed my bike and both tires blew up, I was like WHAT THE $%! Not again! We were about to head to a bike shop to get them fixed when Chris saved me…again! He pulled out two tubes from his truck and once again, Chris thanks a lot man!
On our way to the jumps we basically had the best highway time, which included drive bys, red light dancing and Paco bum. Carl and I were just killing ourselves laughing. I grabbed my camera and started shooting.
We met up with Taylor Sage, Kyle Strait, Cam Zink, Nate Adams and Joe (sorry Joe I don’t know your last name). They have been working on these jumps for the past 3 or 4 days and wow. The jumps were incredible and I felt kind of bad riding them without shoveling cause I know from when we had our jumps back in Kelowna that if someone showed up, rode, cased the jumps and didn’t dig, we would get pretty choked.
The jump line consisted of 7 jumps all lipped up and steep landings. They were so sick; I couldn’t believe how fun they were as well. T Sage was boosting his whips high and smooth with Strait right behind him. I was getting a little bit rowdy near the end, throwing out superman’s to heel clickers, triple cans and some Indian airs. It became dark pretty quick so we packed up and headed out to the road where we talked and hung out for about an hour or more. Tomorrow we are going to the beach to surf with Isaac, Rick, and Chris. Last day here in Cali, so we better make it a touristy one.

WTF I LIVE LIKE 20 MINUTES FROM THERE THEY KEPT THAT SHIT UNDERGROUND...thanks for the new spot to ride
Those dirt jumps look so nice...But why would someone build them big gap short gap? Musta got a litte annoying.
How loud were the tires when they exploded? My sisters bike tire exploaded once when we were camping. I looked out the trailer and thought i was getting bombed or something
