Last weekend in Kelowna C.O.G. took place. Many of us have been waiting all year for this event. Center of Gravity is a multi sport event that includes wakeboarding, volleyball, basketball and biking.

The main attraction is usually the volleyball but this year, the dirt jump demos brought in the biggest crowd and the loudest cheers!

Kelowna Red Bull Sugga Shoot

Last editted Jul 29, 2009 at 23:58
After a rad weekend riding Silver Star with Dustin Greenall, Tyler Morrison, Sydney Desmarias and her very cute lady friend, Kenzie. Dustin and I headed back to Kelowna for a little Red Bull shoot.

We had been planning to do this shoot since the Goat Style Bike Festival a few weeks ago. Dave Jones from Red Bull came down to Kelowna for a couple days with the Sugga to shoot. The Red Bull Sugga for those of you who haven’t seen or heard of the beauty, is a '57 Volvo Body with enough money invested into it to make your house look bad. Three HD TV’s pop out of the roof and a full on DJ set up unfolds. Oh and I can’t forget to mention the winch on the back to pull us into whatever we could think of.

Whistler Opening Weekend! - Cooper and Groves Crew

Last editted May 25, 2009 at 22:38
I used to have a hard time sleeping the night before something special. I think many Christmases ago were the most comparable instances where excitement prevented me from sleep. It always takes something great to experience this, and this feeling came back into my life last Friday. Yes, it wasn’t Christmas.

It was something greater; the opening of Whistler Bike Park!

Sea Otter - Day One "The Gathering"

Last editted Apr 12, 2009 at 8:28
I arrived at Pinkbike this afternoon to meet up with the crew. When I got there I walked into the shop, there was Tyler and Trenton working on his new Devinci bikes to get his bikes in tip-top shape for Sea Otter. About an hour later Kyle arrived and was stoked to see his new bikes sitting waiting to be built. I worked on my Transition Double for a couple hours swapping parts and fine-tuning certain things so that I can race Dual at the Sea Otter in a few days.

Casey and Carl's Trip to Cali - Day 4 - Final Day

Last editted Nov 23, 2008 at 22:44
The fourth and final day in California took us on a wild ride. Instead of going out and hitting the Skate Park or riding dirt jumps, we went surfing! Isaac brought out a couple of his surfboards to let us give it a go. What I didn’t know was that Isaac is a pro surfer! How awesome is that, the first time we were learning to surf was being taught by a pro.

I grabbed the board and headed out first.

Casey and Carl's Trip to Cali - Day 3

Last editted Nov 23, 2008 at 0:20
It has been a great trip so far and today wouldn’t have been a better riding day. The sun was shining and the bikes were rolling. Since yesterday we rode Skate Park, today we really wanted to ride some dirt. We headed over to National City to ride a local spot. The jumps were really cool, but they were really complicated. They went like long gap to short gap to shorter gap and just messed you up. They were really tiring as well. I took a break for 5 minutes and then grabbed my bike and both tires blew up, I was like WHAT THE &#$%! Not again! We were about to head to a bike shop to get them fixed when Chris saved me…again! He pulled out two tubes from his truck and once again, Chris thanks a lot man!

Casey and Carl's Cali Trip - Day 2

Last editted Nov 21, 2008 at 21:53
All right, so today started of really rad. Woke up early and found out that the jam didn’t start till 2pm. So Carl and I drove around San Diego and found a couple sick skate parks. Instead of being bums and chilling at our hotel, we decided to hit the beach for some photos. Then I decided I wanted to go swimming, so I went back to our rental car (yea we got a PT Cruiser) to change into my shorts.

Casey and Carl's Cali Trip - Day 1

Last editted Nov 21, 2008 at 9:17
It's been an exciting wait, I have never been so eager to go anywhere in my life. All last night I packed, got all of my bike gear ready to go and went to sleep. Although, it is not very easy to sleep when you are excited for the next day to come. It's like waiting on Christmas, only better!

I'm heading to California with Carl from Transition bikes and we'll be keeping you posted all week:

My First Visit to Transition Bicycle Co

Last editted Nov 4, 2008 at 16:08
This past weekend I lost my virginity and crossed the border. I never thought the United States would be so different than Canada.

I just got my L, so I wanted to drive across the border to see the crew at Transition Bikes. I totally had a brain fart and forgot that in the US you drive by miles per hour not kilometers per hour, so when we started to drive I was going about 80km and out of the corner of my eye I saw the speed limit sign and it read 50. Therefore I was like "Ah Crap! I don't want to get pulled over my first time in the states with my L". My Dad and Tyler just laughed at me. This would be one of the many things I learned on this trip.

My Crankworx Experience

Last editted Aug 21, 2008 at 22:24
The event everyone has been waiting for has finally started. The biggest names with the gnarliest tricks and speed. There was an enormous amount of prize money up for grabs and you bet that you will see the craziest stuff get thrown down to win cash.

This year my Crankworx experience was like no other. For the past few years I have come to Crankworx as a spectator and watched from the side lines. This year I was competing in the VW Trick Showdown and the Monster Energy Slopestyle thanks to my win at Whistler's Air Affair.

Creston Goatstyle 2008 -Week in Review

Last editted Jun 11, 2008 at 22:14
It has been a long wait for the crew in Creston BC, but the time finally came for the 3rd annual Goatstyle slopestyle event in Creston BC. This year the Goatstyle crew had something big up their sleeves. Wesley Graham, the event organizer and developer managed to get around $50,000 to spend on the event for this year. Dave Wigen had some land that they were digging up and needed the dirt to be excavated out of the site so he decided to get Wes to come down to the site and check out if the dirt would be any good for building jumps and making a course. It turns out the dirt was perfect!! Dave said when they were digging it up from the ground; the dirt was almost green because it was made of so much clay.

Jordie Lunn's Spectacular Peanut Butter Jam -

Last editted May 6, 2008 at 16:05
April 26, 2008 - An amazing weekend in the Lunn's backyard! As you all know Jordie Lunn has been putting on Dirtjump Competitions in his yard for the last couple years. I have dreamed about going to his yard ever since watching the movie 'ROAM' by The Collective. This year things changed, Tyler Maine aka Brule called me one night while I was working on the jumps in Kelowna and asked me what I was doing on the 26th of April, I simply replied, "Either gaming on Call of Duty 4 or riding our local jumps". Then he told me that I'd got an invite to Jordie Lunn's competition, I just freaked, dropped my shovel and jumped up and down in excitement! This was the coolest invite ever!
